Adornments - Visionary Art by Jake Kobrin
Jake Kobrin is an internationally recognized visionary artist.
He brings the spiritual onto the canvas connecting the visual arts with the universal creative energies. Using art as a vehicle for self-discovery his art serves as a sacred mirror both for the artist – and his creative process, and for the viewer as a reflection of our own unchartered psyche.
Having found inspiration at a young age, he studied at studied at Sadie Valeri Atelier in SF, The Vienna Academy of Visionary Art in Austria, and the Angel Academy of Art in Florence, Italy.
“My artwork is also greatly influenced by non-ordinary, shamanic, and transpersonal experiences, Eastern philosophy and psychology, the thriving psychedelic avant-garde of Burning Man, and the burgeoning Visionary counter-culture. I strive to blend an eclectic array of artistic and cultural influences with a classically-informed aesthetic to produce artworks that are both visually and conceptually interesting.”
His training did not stop here and he went on to meet and be mentored by Android Jones, Alison and Alex Grey and Amada Sage.
For his exhibition he will bring us a variety of psychedelic works, made specially for the occasion.
